Spotlight on Beamish Museum and Seaton Tramway

Posted 6 March 2023

In the third event of the KEF Spotlight on Projects series, we are delighted to welcome representatives from Beamish Museum in County Durham and Seaton Tramway, down in Devon.

Beth Marston will talk about their project to run a course of mindful dementia friendly photography walks in the extensive grounds of Beamish Museum. As well as creating individual photojournals, participants will work with an artist to stage an exhibition of their work at the end of the project.

Nicola Stone from Seaton Tramway, will tell us about their project to run regular tram excursions, specifically for people with early-onset dementia. They will be offering a wide range of wildlife and well-being activities to help people engage with the nature on the Seaton Wetlands.
