Cyanotypes At Seaton

Posted 4 December 2023

Many congratulations to Seaton Tramway and the East Devon Wetland Rangers for completing their series of five Wetlands Explorer events throughout the summer. Not shy of a challenge, Nicola Stone, Director and the Learning and Activity Manager at Seaton Tramway, set out to run a different event every month. These included a watercolour session delivered by Frances Isaacs, who has dementia, a cyanotypes printing workshops and a mindfulness session by Penny Evans, the Seaton Wetlands Ranger, a birdwatching session run by the tramway’s own Steve Waite, and a nature art session by local artist Peter Margerum. Interest in the events grew as time went on, and they also developed a committed following of return visitors. ENLIVEN’s support has helped to seed a new partnership between the tramway and the wetlands teams, with plans for further work together in the future.
